A Fast Benchmarking Software
for Surface Quantum Computing Architectures
The architecture considered in this work is based on Kitaev's codes and their generalizations:
Our software allows us to simulate the performance of any code of the family of
generalized surface codes which encompasses Kitaev's codes and
its 2 generalizations by Freedman and Meyer and by Bravyi and Kitaev.

These methods, which are generally more costful, could be used to run more precise
tests on a promising canditate selected with the help of our software.
